We are sorry to inform you of Randy Carty's passing on Sunday 16 October 2005. Randy was one of our OCSJ members and was a man of outstanding integrity.  Leona & I will miss Randy very much but we will always remember his friendship, Support and the great times we had paddling with Randy and his beloved dogs. Randall H. Carty Jr.

EWING TOWNSHIP -- Randall H. Carty Jr., 87, died Sunday in Hamilton Continuing Care.

Born in Crosswicks, he was a resident of Ewing the past 54 years. Mr. Carty was retired from the Mercer County Chest Clinic as an X-ray technician.

In his early years he was a well known baseball player in Burlington and Mercer counties. He served as commodore of the Mohawk Canoe Club and was a parishioner at the Church of the Incarnation.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Husband of the late Mildred M. Carty, he is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, George and Virginia Carty of Toms River and James Carty of Cinnaminson; a sister, Emma Pensch of Vero Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 9 a.m. Wednesday at Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation.

Burial will follow at Ewing Cemetery.

Calling hours are 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to the service time at the memorial chapel.

Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
